Spectacular Burra!

Today we spent several hours doing the Burra point loop! Needless to say, we highly enjoyed ourselves and the views were out-standing. Certainly one of my most favourite walks to date and planning to return with a pic-nic in the summer time. Originally, i had only planned to spend no more than an hour here at Bannamin beach... But then as we were walking along, I noticed a cairn at the top of the hill. A carin (like the one in the photo) is a human-made pile of stones used as a landmark usually for the summet of a hill - and for me, they are like a red rag to a bull! I just HAVE to get to them, no matter how tired or sore my body is! For those of you who make it to the top, trust me, the view is worth the heart attack in getting there. And dont forget to put your own stone at the top like we always do :) Now to rest my poor aching legs...
